The Continuo Arts Foundation invites you to usher in the season with family and friends as you tour some of Westfield's beautiful homes dressed in holiday style. View the latest decorating ideas from top designers and get inspiration to begin preparing your own home for the holidays, all the while helping a local charitable organization that benefits thousands locally and around the world. Serving as tour chairperson is Coldwell Banker’s Sherrie Natko and Coldwell Banker agents will serve as docents; sharing each home’s historic and unique qualities with tour goers.
Special music will insure the holiday spirit abounds & all ticket holders will receive gift envelopes with specials from area merchants! Click on the individual home listings below for performing artists schedule and home details!
To top off your holiday experience, your ticket reserves seating for you at the annual "Christmas Time in the City"concert on December 16th at 6:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Westfield. In keeping with tradition, alumni performers of the past will be invited once again to participate in this year’s concert which will also feature six choral ensembles, soloists, The Continuo Arts Chamber Orchestra, narrators, special guest artists, and of course, the ever popular audience sing-a-longs!

- Majestic Mountainside Colonial

This Majestic Mountainside Colonial was built in 2008 by Primavera Builders. It is one of 6 vast homes located on a private cul-de-sac on the Westfield side of Route 22. Kate and Barry Motz are the first owners of this grand home that they share with their three young children.
Although many of the fine features were in place when the Motz family moved here from California, they have enhanced many rooms with custom window treatments by classic windows in Cranford, NJ. The grand piano is tastefully appointed just beyond the grand foyer and serves to create the perfect ambiance.
Spacious rooms and high ceilings impart an open feel that is ideal for formal entertaining or comfortable daily living. The expansive formal dining room leads into the butlers’ pantry and tastefully appointed eat-in kitchen complete with granite counter-tops and gourmet appliances. The family room has vaulted ceilings, abundant windows, custom built-ins and a stately fireplace.
Private spaces include a Master bedroom suite as well as three additional and tastefully decorated bedrooms, Jack n Jill bath and second floor laundry room. The ample back yard has been enhanced with a play set and club house.

- Traditional Wychwood Colonial.....transformed

Built in 1938, this traditional Wychwood colonial was transformed by current owners Miriam Silver, Joseph Verga, and their four daughters. Being their first home as newlyweds, Miriam and Joseph moved into this home in 1999 as part of an extended family relocation. They are the third residents of the home.
As part of the transformation of this beautiful home, the kitchen was redone in 2001 to update the look, but did not change the footprint. Working with the talented Dave Hagan of KCH Construction, the homeowners undertook a major renovation in 2007-2008. Among the renovations was the addition of a home office and extended footprint to add an art room for the children, after knocking out a side screened in porch. Also, a master suite with a walk in closet and master bath was added to the upstairs. Special care was taken during these renovations to maintain a Wychwood feel for the outside of the home, specifically the addition of supporting beams all throughout the house in order to keep the roof to a historically correct low height so as not to overpower the homes around it.
Miriam and Joseph are true traditionalists with a colonial inspired home, especially when decorated for the holidays.

- Classic Wychwood Gem

Set on one of Wychwood’s most charming streets, this captivating Center Hall Colonial welcomes you with hardwood floors, traditional moldings and a welcoming open flow. Built in the 1930’s this is now the home of Kim and Ric Shiarella and their family. Although significantly updated by the prior owners in 2005, Kim and Ric have also made many more recent improvements such as new flooring and freshly painted walls throughout.
The 100 year old grand piano graces the spacious living room and is complimented by a wood-burning fireplace, antique furnishings and fabulously framed heirloom collection of artwork. Just beyond, is the sun-lit family room with abundant windows and sliding doors out to the inviting a paver patio.

This vibrant Victorian was built in the 1920’s and has recently been lovingly restored by the current owners, Barbara and Scot McElheny. They are proud to share their home of 13 years with their three children having purchased it from the prior owners who resided here for 30 years.
Completely renovated in 1999 by Grant Boyce Construction the front porch welcomes you to this gracious home. The first floor has a fabulous flow with hardwood floors and moldings throughout. A grand piano is the focal point of the living room complimented by a gracious fireplace and picture window. The formal dining room includes a Rococo dresser as well as a prize-winning, multi-colored art déco antique chandelier also from the 1920’s.
The Kitchen, installed this summer, boasts custom cabinetry that was specially designed to accent the owners’ vanity granite counter-tops. Spacious and well-lit with a fabulous skylight it is easily accessible to the family room that has glass front cabinets as well as designer columns.
